California Community Foundation

The California Community Foundation (CCF) works to strengthen communities across Los Angeles County. During a period of growth and transition, I helped evolve the foundation’s brand, led the development of a new website, improved design operations for staff, and supported CCF’s move into a new building.

Refreshing the Brand

I helped guide CCF’s transition from its green identity to a brighter blue and aqua system inspired by Los Angeles. The refresh introduced updated typography, photography, colors, messaging, and applications, along with a new quilted graphic representing the connected communities and stories of the region.

Leading the Website Redesign

As CCF’s website lead, I managed the project and served as the primary connection between the foundation and our agency partner. I coordinated internal feedback, represented CCF’s goals, and helped guide the experience from strategy through completion. The new responsive website brought the refreshed brand to life through human-centered photography, clear content organization, and flexible layouts across desktop and mobile.

Supporting a New Chapter

I helped turn the refreshed identity into a practical system for everyday use through brand guidelines, shared resources, and repeatable design processes. I also supported CCF’s move into its new building, extending the brand into the organization’s new environment and helping create a consistent experience for staff, partners, donors, and visitors.

One Connected Experience

The brand refresh, website, design operations, and building transition came together as connected parts of CCF’s next chapter, creating a more unified foundation for its communications, workplace, and community presence.
